| Hey, hey! We finally meet! As you might remeber – I'm Gerda. In the Lux team I mostly do programming and outreach with a few touches of help in robot construction and CAD modelling. I searched ideas for our name, made our team’s t-shirts, desinged the logo and other things. In my free time I enjoy reading books, drawing and researching biology and astronomy for fun. | Hello! Nice to meet you! I'm Tėja. I recently joined the Lux team, where I mostly work on finding problems, coming up with solutions, and fixing our creation. I’m very energetic, always on the move, and I enjoy improving how things work. In my free time, I enjoy playing tennis, swimming, and playing the piano. | Hello, I'm Miglė. My main focus in our team is on robot construction, repair, and problem-solving. Due to being new on the team, I haven't done much yet. In my free time, I like reading, painting, and spending time with my friends. |

| Oh jolly gee... This is going to be a long one. I’ll be addressing our robots by their names: Antanas – our old robot, gifted by team Magis, now pulled apart for parts and Jurgis– our new robot that we’ll be upgrading and using in upcoming competitions. Let’s talk about Antanas first. So as I said Antanas was gifted to us, already built and loaded, even had mechanum wheels, which was a new thing to us and we had to learn to use them. In the course of the seazon we made upgrades, like making a new intake, a bigger “basket” and more other things. Antanas has worked well for us and we’ll be more than happy to use his past parts for our new robot. |

Jurgis, now. At first we brainstormed ideas and after we chose one idea, Simon made a CAD (computer aided design) of the drivetrain and we made it come to life. There were a few errors and mistakes, so we fixed them by brainstorming more ideas on how to fix them. After we finished building the physical robot, we started making the code for it, so it could function and work properly. After we finished making the robot it was very fun seeing the clean physical product of our work. |
We as a team are really happy to be part of the FTC project and we are really proud of each and every small victory we own, but here are the biggest ones:
Right now, as our team is still building itself, expanding and changing, we don’t have a clear plan in mind, except for building and upgrading our robot and spreading the word of FIRST and Gracious Professionalism. We’ll be more than thankful for each and every opportunity to do exactly that.
Robotics is a journey. There are ups and downs in the path of learning and all of us go through that path one way or another. I am especially happy to be a part of this huge project and we’re very thankful for the people that helped us along the journey. So HUGE thank you to our dear, dear teacher and mentor Lina for always being there for us, thank you team Magis (25584) for giving us our old robot and motivating us to reach higher and be stronger. And mostly THANK YOU “Asseco Lithuania” for sponsoring us and helping us achieve our goals and fulfill our needs.
